The Pivoting Litter system allows for the easy loading and unloading of patients through the right hand main cabin door. The system consists of the three-position litter mounted on a box that includes two drawers for the storage of various medical supplies and IV fluid warmer. A Ferno model 1402 stretcher is used on top of the litter for the movement of the patient to/from the helicopter. The system allows for the placement of the litter in three positions; fore and aft along the co-pilot side of the aircraft, diagonal with the patient’s head located between the two aft forward facing attendants and out the main cabin door for loading/unloading of the patient.
